My real name is Robert Newton, fellow paintballers know me as OsirisBok, Osiris being the Egyptian god of life and death, brother of Isis and father of Horus. The Bok part has to do with astronomical formations and star birth. I thought it sounded good….
I was born in April of 1959 in the US territory of Hawaii, yes before it became a state. My parents were military so I traveled a lot. I graduated HS in 1977 and joined the US Navy as a sonar operator/technician and hunted submarines and actually found a few. After my tour was up I did a lot of odd jobbing, then went to college… twice… having garnered two degrees.
As far as paintball goes I have been playing only for about two years but love it and want to play a lot more. When on the field honor rules if hit I call myself out if suspected I get hit I call for a paint check. If I hit you and see you wipe it off may the Gods help you. I do not believe in “bonus balls” one shot one kill, but in the heat of battle shyte does happen, if I get hit more than once ok, but if that happens intentionally and I get hit a lot more than necessary we will have to talk after the scenario. Again Honor rules.
I like to play with a squad, I like the coordination and team work that provides, but on the other hand I do not have the slightest problem going it solo, and am a sneaky bastard. I am very honest when it comes to questions and I will tell you the truth and offer opinions as well, so if you don’t want a extremely honest answer don’t ask!
