The Ghostwalker Yahoo Group is the starting point for all shooters, and the public message board. By signing up here, you open the door for Ghostwalkers, team groupies (yeah, right), lurkers, and other people interested in the Ghostwalkers to share game information and other public messages. Here, you identify yourself with a team name, and get the ball rolling towards being a team shooter. We have a variety of paintball related files, additional photos, contact information, and so forth stored in the Ghostwalker Yahoo Group.
The Ghostwalker Forum is the private team message board. After signing onto the Ghostwalker Yahoo Group, you can sign into the Forums as well. We have additional messages posted related to upcoming games, team business, and private "off-line" communications. Once accepted as a team shooter, you will be granted additional rights in the forums that gives you access to hidden topics and posts, accessible only to team shooters.
The Saturday Morning Shoot Yahoo Group is a public message board specific to the Dallas location where we shoot every Saturday. Other teams, like BOHICA, Rat Patrol, Palawan, Dirty Dawgs, Fuzzy Ducks, and so forth use it to coordinate things out there and to pass messages between teams. Those occasions when everybody is off on an away game, or the place is rained out, or an additional Sunday or weekday shoot is planned are communicated between teams here also.
You're probably asking yourself, "Self, How Do I Become One Of The Legendary Ghostwalkers?".
Lucky you, here's how:
1) Come out and shoot! With us, against us, just shoot. If we seem like a stand up group, move on to step two. If we seem like assholes, at least you still got to shoot.
2) Talk to us. Let us know who you are and that you are interested. Get the names of the Ghostwalkers you speak to. When they tell you to sign in and sign up, come back here and click the Yahoo Group link above.
3) Join the Ghostwalker Yahoo Group. Tell us who you are and who you spoke to and you'll get approved for the groups.
4) Sign into the Forums. Once you get Yahoo group approval, get onto the forums also.
5) Get us your Bio pic and data for the members page of this web site. If you drag your feet, we'll make up a load of crap about you. Your choice - load of crap, or real information.
6) Shoot some more! After a few shoots we'll know who you are, and the Ghostwalkers Forum Inner Sanctum will be made available. Your bio page will be linked to the Reserves page for the first year so we can get to know each other before "jumping in".
7) When your bio page kink moves to the regular page, You're one of us. At least till you get sick of us, or that indictment goes through and you have to take a federal vacation.
8) Join SpecOps! Not required, but what the hell, it's free. Give us the link to your SpecOps page and we'll post it with your bio.
9) Shoot some more! That's what you joined for, isn't it?
