Got to the Dallas site about 7:30, walked around till I spotted Giggles, hung out till more people showed up, eventually got a game going.

With limited air supplies, we started a predator game that lasted about 3 minute. The Noob let himself be seem getting into his hidey hole, so he was pretty much nuked. Shane took over after that as Predator. We futzed about for a bit looking for him, He found us and shot my clumsy ass. I fell onto my back and wallowed about like a damn turtle while the noob stood there asking what he should do. I told him to run, he didn't, so I shot him.
Unfortunately, Shane had already done that so I technically shot my own guy - but since it was a leg wound on a predator - didn't count. I traded some fire with gramps, took a few rounds in the head and arms before turning
him. Turned my attention on 'Stang, who had been sniping at me while I dealt with Gramps. Chased 'Stang across Alamo field and into the bunkered hole taking more rounds to the arms and legs - then 'Stang got me solid in the chest and Game was over for me. Left 'Stang to deal with the 3 or 4 other predators coming at him from three sides. He mentioned it got sort of ugly.

Since I was out of air and had no fill station yet, I did the next game with my sidearm only. Bohica took up residence in Alamo and we tried to flush them out. Preacher and 'Stang played with a mortar Preacher built, but
didn't have much luck cutting through the tree cover. Bohica had only a couple guys in the fort - the rest were out back. As the fort was cleared, more moved in. I managed to get behind the bunker right in front of Alamo,
but traded fire with a Bohica on the other side of the same wall. We either shot each other out, or I shot myself out - either way I got out. Came back in and got back to the same position only to be faced with an empty fort -
Bohica had been cleaned out. So we walked in.

I went back and got gassed up - air had arrived - and rejoined just as they started a dual fort assault. I was guarding Apache's back door, waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Finally heard some sporadic fire by the creek, and took a better position - and waited. Finally spotted Curly, and we both ducked back to cover. While assessing my options, a couple guys behind me -towards the fort - started hollering for team id. A couple more to my left hollered back, as did Curly in front of me. I was essentially surrounded on all sides by Bohica - the Alamo team. So I stood up and started shooting which lasted about 3 seconds. Turns out I was guarding an empty fort and Bohica was able to not only just walk in and claim it without a fight, but had the time to put a guy up a tree overlooking the fort.

Everybody staggered back to regroup, and we eventually got a half assed game going - capture the flag with resurrection. But not everybody heard about the resurrection part. And we almost had a fist fight. While Gramps was shouting and targeting a guy over the ridge, I was shouting for a halt fire to allow the deceased to leave the field, and one guy went charging for the flag. At the same time some young kid capped the dead guy, who turned and only saw the flag runner - so words were exchanged, things were cooled down, some apologies made, and we swapped sides to do it again.

This last one was one big honkin cluster fuck. We did actually get a flag back to base - but it was the wrong flag (gramps wouldn't listen when I told him, so I walked the damn thing back just to shut him up). Gramps had made it to the other side and was hollering about being on our side - apparently we kept shooting at him. This annoyed the other side who were already a bit bent from the earlier argument, so they pretty much lit gramps up. Which is good - he drew fire and allowed me to cross the creek and get behind the right side bunker by the bridge - twice. The guy hiding in the brush pile in the creek shot me out both times - a brief moment of glory, snuffed out in a second. I think the other side finally just got disgusted and walked off the field.
Gotta say I can't blame them - it was a disorganized mess.

Overall, not a bad day. Not the best I've had, but adequate. Rain didn't have any effect - only sprinkled on us a couple times. Humidity was a bitch - goggles kept fogging. Had fun shooting at Bohica. Enjoyed shooting
with and at 'Stang. Enjoyed running with Preacher. Even enjoyed hunting Shane. Didn't enjoy the near fist fight or last chaotic mess of a game. But I got to shoot people, damnit, and that's what counts. Even if I did take a
round in the nads.
