Debriefing, 26 December 2004. Wiseguys, With the Gorillas. In Attendance: Billy "Bastitch" Burks, Geoffery "Forrest Bump" Hinkle, Chris "SBD" Cook, Joey "Lurch" Carroll. We met at Wiseguys about 1 PM, shot till a little after 5. Great time - lots of shooting, lots of running. We played a couple of bodyguard scenarios; a couple of defend the fort scenarios; a couple of full field eliminations. Lurch also got in a (very brief) speedball match with some young shooters. I must congratulate Lurch, SBD, and Forrest Bump on being literally the last men still in play on several matches. I cannot claim that same honor since I barely made it through the first half of most matches. I suspect some communists slipped a paint magnet into my shorts while I was registering to shoot. Overall however, the Ghostwalkers gave a good show, soundly representing the team. Sadly, the Ghostwalkers did not do so well in the last match. Three of us were shot out as we left the fort at game start, the fourth less than a minute later. We all essentially ran straight into a fuselage of paint and spent the next half hour cleaning paint off our markers and clothing. Them's the breaks. Gorillas played well, played hard, and made us feel very welcome. We look forward the next opportunity to shoot with them. Billy
