Debriefing; February 20, 2005. Multi Group Meet & Shoot.
The Ghostwalkers met the Lone Star Brigade and a few other groups at 
Pappy Elkins Park in Dalworthington Gardens. Present from the 
Ghostwalkers were Bastitch, B'alrahg, Preacher, Evil Nun, Cold Steel, 
and Mongo (who also shoots with the Lone Star Brigade).
Unfortunately, because of a mix up in communications we failed to get
clearance from the proper authority and had to relocate. No hard
feelings towards the local police force, just doing their jobs. We'll 
identify and go through proper channels next time.
We ended up at a private residence in Renden and commenced shooting 
by 2 PM. Nice set up; lightly wooded, about 2 or 3 acres with a 
variety of natural and man made cover. We paired off with Mad Ivan 
providing gas, chrono services, and referees. We played two hard and 
fast elimination matches, then took a breather and ran another. Each 
match had new captains and new team selections, so there was no chance
to fall into a groove – we had to stay sharp each game. 
B'alrahg had to head to work and missed game 4, also elimination. I
had to leave at that time so I missed what followed. Game 5 was a
planned urban sweep with 3 volunteer "psychotic terrorists" hiding in
the field, and the rest doing a systematic move through to locate and
eliminate. I'm truly sorry to have had to miss that, but obligations 
are obligations. We'll have to rely on Preacher, Evil Nun, or Cold 
Steel to fill us in on how things went.
I enjoyed the day immensely, and would like to thank Mad Ivan and Dan 
"Mongo" Evans for setting this up. Seriously anticipating the next
shoot. Thumbs up to the gentleman who brought his kids out. They were
hard players and held their own, I look forward to shooting with them
in the future.
